sunrise brushstroke It was an early morning well rewarded: first waiting in the dark, next getting rained on periodically, then being treated to this living canvas of light, shadow, shifting forms, colour, and finally watching the Artist’s vivid brushstroke spread across the sky.

the breakwater Like last week’s image, here’s another tribute to The Breakwater. She’s my favourite walk – a .75km sea wall offering a unique experience of the ocean and it’s wildlife. This Victoria landmark remains, but current renovations will change the way she looks forever.
