Having climbed so high,
she sat to relish her accomplishment.
Then just as her fear of heights began to kick in,
she swallowed her panic
and bravely faced the next summit.

Sadie sighs a deep sigh of thanks for her day
as she basks in the last rays of the setting sun.

A day in the life of Sadie Snail – 7 pm:
After a rowdy supper of barbecue frog legs with her cousins,
Sadie returns home. She enjoys the evening’s quiet coolness
while she waters her veggie garden.

A day in the life of Sadie Snail – 4 pm:
Sadie really doesn’t think two at a time on the swing
is a good idea after all.
She hangs on for dear life while
her little cousin squeals with excitement.

A day in the life of Sadie Snail – 2 pm:
After a long lunch-induced nap,
Sadie carefully makes her way across
the pond to visit her cousins.
She wonders what crazy adventure
they will rope her into this time …

A day in the life of Sadie Snail – 12 pm:
Sadie worked up a monster of an appetite from cleaning.
She keeps eating … and eating … and eating …
and hopes her personal trainer isn’t watching.

A day in the life of Sadie Snail – 11 am:
After Sadie spent hours sweeping out her house,
she looks in disgust at the pile of dust bunnies
and wishes a good wind would come along
and blow them all to kingdom come.

A day in the life of Sadie Snail – 8 am:
Before tackling her to do list,
Sadie checks on her succulents
and is quite pleased to see that
no weeds have sprung up overnight.

A day in the life of Sadie Snail – 7 am:
Sadie greets the new day
while munching on her breakfast lettuce.
She hopes she can find a few coffee grounds
in the compost to jump start her morning.
