A few evenings ago I had the privilege of

sitting on the beach while the sun was setting.

The ocean’s incessant music, seagull sopranos, salty sea aroma,

cool blustery wind, gritty wet sand, and softening light

were a sublime spa for the senses.

This morning I felt so privileged to see

this rare limited edition masterpiece

hung in God’s great gallery

for only a few minutes before it faded away

I was blessed with a short vacation spent with dear friends in Alberta.

We took a sightseeing road-trip through the Rockies,  dodging rain and elk along the way.
