A day in the life of Sadie Snail – 4 pm:
Sadie really doesn’t think two at a time on the swing
is a good idea after all.
She hangs on for dear life while
her little cousin squeals with excitement.
A few trembling leaves still cling
to the bare winter branches
waving and whispering in the chill wind.
How does one climb a towering tree? – one small inch at a time.
Mushroom Madness is here!
I love to get down on the forest floor and hunt for these fun – gi in their habitat. Most are quite tiny – less than 5 cm tall.
Join me for a new mushroom image every day for the next 8 days.
I hope you’ll discover how endearing and full of personality the humble ‘shroom really is.
The road to freedom must be travelled –
though it is paved with much hardship and suffering;
though uncertain of what the destination will look like;
we are born to reach it.
Thank you to the men, women, and families that suffered much for our country’s freedom.
From within or from behind,
a light shines through us upon things,
and makes us aware that we are nothing,
but the light is all.
~ Ralph Waldo Emerson
The poetry of the earth is never dead.
~ John Keats
If a tree falls in the forest …
this snail will be sure to hear it.

To me, photography is an art of observation. It’s all about finding something interesting in an ordinary place…
I’ve found it has little to do with the things you see, and everything to do with the way you see them.
~ Elliott Erwitt
Someday we are going to see God in His completeness, face-to-face.
Now all that I know is hazy and blurred,
but then I will see everything clearly…
