crimson on white I see a lot of Queen Anne’s Lace when I’m out walking, and I’ve wondered why I see a dark spot on some. A closer look reveals it is actually a minuscule flower – a drop of crimson placed in the center of bridal white.

aspens On my Rockies road-trip I met these tall silent sentinels – keepers of the forest, guarding the mountain paths. Their feet were dirty but their hearts were glowing, standing proud of their place in Creation.

newborn bliss My niece is wildly delighted to hold her 1 month old little brother! I spent 4 days visiting them and experienced newborn bliss for myself. Newborns are so tiny and soft and cuddly and perfect and wonderful. I highly recommend holding one – it’s absolutely therapeutic.
roadside blur On a recent road trip I pointed my camera out the car window and tried some “drive-by shooting”. I love how motion blur transforms the roadside weeds into abstract colour.
