Yesterday morning I was driving around the countryside

chasing patches of fog and sunbeams.

While poking my lens through a screen of bushes & fence,

I happened upon these breakfasting sheep.

Happy Winter!

This is the view from my window on this rare Victoria “snow day”.

It’s fun to see everything white for a day or two ……  then I’m ready for spring.

On my Rockies road-trip I met these tall silent sentinels

– keepers of the forest, guarding the mountain paths.

Their feet were dirty but their hearts were glowing,

standing proud of their place in Creation.
